I realized I have not posted a blog in a long time – sorry about that – time seems to pass so quickly! We have lots of exciting things going on at Splurge Bakery. We continue to produce some of the most creative, and beautiful personalized cookies on the market for milestone parties and corporate events. In addition, we are busy expanding our offering of personalized desserts. One of our latest additions in an incredibly delicious chocolate chip cookie cake – good enough for adults and children alike. As a testament to Splurge Bakery’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake, we received a call from a friend of ours who needed a special gift to get him in the door at some of the top advertising agencies in NYC. He noticed our cookie cake on our website and ordered a dozen of them with his logo and a special Valentine’s Day message. The cookie cake “door opener” was a huge success. He had agency people, who are normally very difficult to get on the phone, call him to say “thank you” for the most delicious chocolate chip cookie cake they have ever had! As he follow-up with the others, he was able to get appointments with them very easily. We can put any message or image on the cake, just like our personalized cookies. By the way, we don’t think frosting mixes very well with chocolate chip cookies – we prefer to use more high quality chocolate as our icing…..Yum!
